PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT – COVID-19
Thank you for your support in keeping everyone safe. We are very grateful for the loyalty and understanding of the NDG community and wish everyone well during this time.
Our patients’ safety is our highest priority, and on top of our already first class infection control procedures, we have introduced a number of new strategies to keep you and our team safe.

Infection Control
As always, here at NDG, we are maintaining the highest level of infection control standards at our practice. We have always had protocols in order to reduce the risk of transmitting viruses, including novel coronaviruses such as COVID-19. Armed with our supply of PPE, strict regimented cleaning of surfaces, and maintained barriers, we pride ourselves in upholding the highest level of protection. We welcome patients to call and discuss any questions regarding our infection control protocols.
Temperature Checks
A friendly member of our team will check all patients’ temperature upon arrival, at the front desk. Please inform us immediately if you are feeling unwell.
Patient Pre-Screening
NDG is asking that all staff and patients visiting our practice who are feeling unwell or are displaying flu like symptoms, have travelled overseas in the last 14 days, or come in contact with anyone that has been tested positive with the coronavirus, we kindly ask you to contact our team at NDG and defer or re-direct your treatment.
Your Car As Waiting Room
If you wish to wait in your car instead of our waiting room, you can call us on 9455 0111 to let us know you have arrived, and then we will call when we are ready for you. After your temperature check you will be ushered directly to the to the surgery room for your appointment.
Hand Hygiene
When visiting NDG please remember to practice simple hygiene by washing your hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and water, or use the alcohol based hand sanitiser provided, as you enter, after your treatment, and before leaving our practice.
Mask Up
All patients and visitors to our practice are required to mask up and cover their nose and mouth. We recommend your own surgical mask, or a cloth mask.
Pre-Procedure Mouth Rinse
As an additional safety measure, you will be given a mouth rinse before beginning your procedure to decrease the microbes in your mouth.
Removal Of Magazines
As an additional precautionary measure at NDG we have removed all non-essential items including all magazines in our waiting room.
Patients Lounge
As we maintain distancing between the visitors to our practice, you will notice that our patients’ lounge looks a little different. Minimal seating, and sparse furniture layout ensure our patients’ safety.
Fit & Healthy Team
As a team we are doing everything we possibly can to remain fit, well and able to work so that we can continue to provide our high standard of dental care for all our patients.
